The Role:

Support the warehouse operation by having the ability to work cross functionally in the areas of: Ecommerce, Forklift, and Inventory to move products and packages throughout eh warehouse, load and unload materials, and pick and pack merchandise.

We’ll trust you to:

• Safety
  1. Create an environment that is clear & organized.
  2. Clean as you go to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  3. Always follow safety rules & regulations.
  4. Be a conduit of safety to yourself and others.
• Forklift Operation                
  1. Move products & packages throughout the warehouse utilizing appropriate equipment.
  2. Conduct equipment checks prior to the start of the shift.  Notify management as appropriate of any issues or safety concerns.
  3. Load & Unload materials & merchandise from trucks & place them in the appropriate location within the warehouse for storage.
  4. Notify supervision regarding any deficiencies in quality, customer shortages or damaged product.  
  5. Staging pallets as needed for shipment. 
• E Commerce
  1. Select products according to tickets and accurately placing them in boxes for shipments, this includes but is not limited: product labeling & box building 
  2. Assemble daily shipments by order location & category
  3. Ensure orders are packed into appropriate shipping containers for customer delivery.
  4. Inspect the product as packing to ensure there is no damage.
  5. Perform quality control assessments and stack them safely & securely.
• Other duties as assigned
  1. Build boxes as needed for the shipment of products to customers. 

You’ll need to have:

• Forklift Certification (pallet jack or high reach)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience operating a high reach forklift or pallet jack.
• Experience in a warehouse environment or cold storage facility a plus.  
• The ability to work in a team environment geared towards the common goals of shipping product/customer orders on time and in a safe manner.  

You’ll need to:

• Work full-time onsite at the RealCold facility, in Lockhart, Texas
• Hours vary depending on facilities shipment of product out of each facility
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Typical workweeks are the standard 40 hours with workdays fluctuating based on the number of cases being shipped on that particular day.

• Continually:  Sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time

• Continually:  Maintain attention for long periods of time with constant interruptions
• Continually:  Work in an environment of 34 degrees for up to 10 to 12 hours per day 
• Occasionally: Reaching and pulling

While performing this job you will: 

Works in a cold storage facility with exposure to low to below zero temperatures. This job may involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as dust, noise, etc. Accidents are improbable other than minor injuries. The environment may be fast paced at times.
