As the inventory control & office manager, you are part of a team that will support a 376,000 square foot facility. This facility is state of the art with two deep racking, automation and a 4-day power back up. The Operations Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved. The Responsibilities, skills, qualifications & competencies are as follows :
Responsibilities :
Hires and trains Inventory Control staff.
Oversees the job assignments and activities of Inventory Control staff.
Collaborates with warehouse managers to provide performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems.
Oversees stock item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and stock numbers.
Locates items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers to assist order processors.
Communicates with warehouse and customers as needed regarding new items, changes of location, counts, etc.
Oversee administrative team in the warehouse office to ensure support of inbound and outbound office. This includes, but not limited to : staffing, training, support and performance management.
Performs and assists with general maintenance and cleanup of warehouse.
Responsible for Customer Order Processing & Billing through System
Assist the General Manager when needed

Skills and Qualifications :
- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
- Extensive knowledge of operations and production management.
- Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production goals.
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to access and navigate the production facility.
- Ability to lift 15 pounds at a time.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred.
- Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) preferred.
- Five years of related experience required.
