Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled RDK Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using RDK (Reference Design Kit) for set-top boxes and other digital devices. The RDK Developer will work closely with our engineering team to design, implement, and test features that enhance the performance and functionality of our products.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Develop and maintain software applications using RDK for set-top boxes and other digital devices.
2. Collaborate with engineering team to design, implement, and test new features and enhancements.
3. Troubleshoot and debug existing code, identifying and resolving issues as needed.
4. Ensure software meets quality standards and adheres to best practices.
5. Stay current with industry trends and developments related to RDK and set-top box technology.
6. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
7. Document code and processes to facilitate future maintenance and updates.
8. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and updates.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing software applications using RDK.
- Strong programming skills in C/C and familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with set-top box development and integration.
- Knowledge of network protocols and video streaming technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Strong communication skills and ability to present technical information clearly.
