Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Source Data Migration Functional Analyst to support data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA implementations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and master data management (MDM). They will work closely with business users, functional teams, and technical teams to ensure seamless data migration from legacy systems to S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data migration requirements, mapping rules, and validation processes.- Lead data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA.
- Work closely with functional teams to ensure data consistency and integrity across SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
- Conduct data cleansing, de-duplication, and standardization to improve data quality before migration.
- Execute data validation, reconciliation, and error handling to ensure successful data loads.
- Define and implement master data governance strategies for key business objects (customers, vendors, materials, GL accounts, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with data policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Support business users in data stewardship, validation, and reporting.
- Work with SAP Data Migration Cockpit, SAP LTMC (Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit), LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench), and BODS (Business Objects Data Services).
- Support integration with external databases, middleware, and third-party data tools.
- Collaborate with technical teams for ETL scripting, automation, and performance optimization.
- Develop test cases and conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for data migration.
- Create functional documentation, data mapping templates, and process flows.
- Provide end-user training on data management best practices.
