Job title: SAP TM Consultant
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced SAP TM (Transportation Management) Consultant to join our client’s team in Toledo, OH. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP TM implementation, configuration, and support to optimize transportation and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP TM solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP TM functional specifications.
- Configure SAP TM for Freight Order Management, Carrier Selection, Charge Calculation, Freight Settlement, and Transportation Planning & Execution.
- Integrate SAP TM with SAP ERP (SAP S/4HANA or ECC), EWM, and other related modules.
- Support end-to-end transportation processes, including order management, routing, scheduling, freight costing, and invoicing.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
- Work on performance tuning, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, and IT teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Overall IT experience: 10 Years.
- 5 years of SAP TM experience, including implementation and support.
- Hands-on experience in SAP TM 9.x or SAP TM on S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of order management, planning, scheduling, and freight costing.
- Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and other logistics modules.
- Knowledge of BOPF, FPM, PPF, and BRF frameworks in SAP TM.
- Understanding of transportation planning, optimization, and execution processes.
- Strong experience in debugging and troubleshooting SAP TM functionalities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SAP EWM, SAP GTS, or SAP Yard Logistics.
- SAP TM Certification is a plus.
- Experience working in the manufacturing, automotive, or logistics industries.
