Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, as well as experience with a variety of testing tools and technologies.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design and develop automated test scripts to verify software functionality and performance
• Collaborate with software developers and quality assurance teams to identify testing requirements
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and tools
• Participate in test planning and strategy meetings
• Investigate defects reported by manual testers and work with development teams to resolve them
• Provide feedback on software quality and suggest improvements to development processes
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in test automation

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience in test automation, including designing and developing automated test scripts
• Proficiency with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance
