RealREPP, a full-service, nationally recognized recruiting firm is currently teaming with civil litigation and insurance coverage firm to hire for a First Year Associate in their San Diego location!
This is a very team-oriented, tight-knit group who work together collaboratively! The candidate will provide guidance and mentorship to the team. This person will have the ability to work in a positive and team-oriented environment, while also working on very interesting and challenging litigation cases. The firm represents public entities, insurance companies and their insureds, private corporations and individuals on a national, regional and local level. The firm's litigation team is known for its skilled advocacy and approach to cases as if they will go to trial, putting clients in the best position to win.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Litigation Associate role in San Diego, CA. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including conducting legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, conducting depositions, appearing in court, and other tasks as assigned by senior attorneys.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Litigation Associate role in San Diego, CA. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including conducting legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, conducting depositions, appearing in court, and other tasks as assigned by senior attorneys.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Law and familiarity with civil litigation and insurance coverage
- Excellent research and analytical ability
- Experience drafting legal documents, including motions and pleadings
- Experience conducting depositions and appearing in court
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the California State Bar
- Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: insurance coverage, environmental, construction, healthcare, general liability, mass torts, product liability, and worker's compensation
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
