Accounting Assistant

We’re looking for a numbers-minded individual who enjoys a fast-paced work environment. If you love crunching numbers, working with clients and enjoying perfectionism then we’re looking for you. Our Accounting Assistant will work directly for our Controller and will provide support that includes handling confidential and time sensitive material. The ability to effectively communicate over the phone and through email are a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain contact lists
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Submit and reconcile expense reports
Reconcile credit card statements
Maintain computer and manual filing systems
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
Coordinate office procedures
Sales Tax Experience a Plus
REQUIREMENTS:- Current QuickBooks Experience
- Bookkeeping experience required
- Good work ethic
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office
