This is for 2nd Shift. POSITION SUMMARY 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
If selected for this position, you will train on 1st shift (6 AM - 2 : 30 PM) and move to 2nd shift (2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM) after training is complete.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely repairing industrial machinery and performing building maintenance. This includes, but is not limited to, troubleshooting, maintaining tools and equipment, and coordinating with management about different repairs. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn who is a self-starter, safety minded, and already possesses some hands on experience in an industrial setting.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Complete industrial machinery and building maintenance repairs (injection mold machinery, extrusion machine, electrical equipment, lighting, HVAC systems, painting, pneumatic systems, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and maintain small tools to large industrial equipment.
- Partner with Maintenance Tech II for preventative maintenance (PM). This could include changing filters, oiling parts, minor electrical repairs, etc.
- Assist in building new fixtures, office equipment, and other necessary tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Support facilities team as needed to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is subject to Heavy Work : Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

This position is subject to the following physical activities : climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, crawling, and repetitive motions.
Visual Acuity
The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as operating machines such as lathes, drill presses, power saws and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach, performing mechanical or skilled trades' tasks of a non-repetitive nature such as carpenters, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.
Working Conditions
The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production-based environment.
Qualifications
Education Technical / other training of Mechanical Systems (preferred)
Experience 2 years : 2 Years Industrial Maintenance Experience (required)
