POSITION SUMMARY
The Studio Service Technician’s primary role will be to help prepare vehicles for photography, which includes installing and removing accessories ranging from truck bed covers, to powered steps, to suspension lifts. This position will clean and detail vehicles and will be responsible for ordering parts and supplies as needed. Additionally, this role will maintain vehicle parts and equipment inventory. This will include shipping and receiving responsibilities. Occasionally, this position will assist the photographer and videographer with shooting vehicles and accessories, both in studio and on location.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Install and remove parts from vehicles using a large array of specialized tools (grinders, vehicle lifts, basic MIG welding, power tools). Product installation will range from bumpers, to winches, to electronics, and suspension components.
- Clean, wash, and prepare vehicles for photoshoots.
- Maintain product inventory in an Excel spreadsheet; receive, move, store, and dispose of products. Keep track of the physical location of all products.
- Deliver products and pick up / drop off vehicles.
- Assist Photographers and Videographers during production shoots; change position of products being photographed, prep photo / video equipment, move vehicles or cameras, drive vehicles being filmed / photographed.
- Maintain studio facilities that includes cleaning, organizing, and painting the studio cove.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
Required Licenses
A valid Driver’s License is required.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
Travel
Frequent regional travel – mostly concluded by day’s end. Overnight travel is not anticipated.

Individual Contributor : working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is subject to Heavy Work : Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

This position is subject to the following physical activities : climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Visual Acuity
The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment as well as install small and / or large accessories to vehicles.
Working Conditions
The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, cold, noise, vibration, and hazards from a vehicle mechanic-like environment.
