Realty Title has a new opportunity for a Settlement Agent in our Atoka, TN Office.
Job Description
Position responsibilities include:
- Enter and acknowledge receipt of new title orders
- Review title searches and commitments for quality and compliance
- Title and escrow closing processing
- Prepare CDs, Settlement Statements and other loan closing documentation
- Conduct closings in professional and ethical manner and in compliance with lender’s closing instructions, sales contract and (working with legal/underwriting counsel) state law.
- Oversee proper receipt, balance and disbursement of good closing funds.
- Make daily and timely deposits into escrow account
- Record final documents in timely manner.
- Follow-up on post-closing issues and/or requests timely.
- Market, develop and maintain realtor, lender, builder and consumer business
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in title/escrow or relative experience
- Must be comfortable working in an electronic (paperless) environment with exceptionally strong computer skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional in appearance and attitude
- Ability to multi-task and work proactively, with a strong sense of urgency and provide effective communication
