Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Manager
ReArch Company is a leading development and construction firm that specializes in creating innovative, sustainable, and high-performance buildings. We are looking for a MEP Manager to join our team and oversee the preconstruction and construction planning, coordination, and execution of MEP systems for our development and construction projects. The starting pay for this position is $110,000-140,000/year, depending on experience.
As a MEP Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing MEP project plans, including schedules and resource allocation needs, to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Creating and updating high level conceptual MEP cost estimates, schematic designs, and documentation; coordinating more detailed estimates with MEP subcontractors.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate MEP design and installation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Reviewing MEP design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
- Traveling to job sites throughout Vermont and New Hampshire to conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments to monitor MEP installations and address any issues or deviations from project specifications.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; an equivalent combination of education and work experience in MEP systems will be considered. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is a plus.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP engineering or construction management, with a proven track record of managing MEP systems for large-scale projects. Fire protection systems knowledge and/or geothermal knowledge highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MEP design software, AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
