What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent for Federal Projects position at Reasor Building Group?
Seeking an experienced Federal Projects Superintendent. Compensation consists of a base salary starting at $75,000 up to $125,000 per year depending on qualifications, plus performance-based project bonuses up to $10,000.
The work will be located at Tyndall and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
- Current USACE QCM Certificate, OHSA 30, First Aid/CPR
- 15 years related military project supervision experience or 10 years with a related college degree
- Ability to use email, MS Office and PDF programs
- Skill as a craftsman in one or multiple construction trades with ability to lead self-performance crews is preferred but not required
General responsibilities include:
Be able to qualify as a Triple Hat Site Manager (QC/SSHO/Superintendent) on Military/DOD construction projects. Manage site safety, quality and production in accordance with USACE EM-385, QCM, and OHSA Standards. Coordinate with project PM for optimal jobsite efficiency and workflow, review submittals, update schedule, oversee site safety, coordinate deliveries, perform QC inspections, write daily reports, coordinate with subcontractors, review plans and blueprints, generate RFI’s, maintain red lines. Occasional responsibilities include minor construction scopes and leading self-performance crews.
