What are the responsibilities and job description for the ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN/ASSEMBLER position at Rebar Machine Service?
Rebar Machine Service is an OEM manufacturer of rebar fabrication equipment. RMS has been in business for over 30 years, with a staff of professional fabricators, machinists, and technicians. RMS has a full machine shop, welding fabrication shop, and an electronics production facility. RMS is currently hiring for the position of Electronics Technician/Assembler.
Technicians are required to be extremely detail oriented. All electronic cables, components, connectors, and assemblies need to meet rigorous performance, reliability, and durability requirements for use in harsh environments and mechanical stresses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble and solder circuit boards and cable connectors
- Assemble microcontroller based systems
- Troubleshoot/repair electronic systems
- Perform a full checkout on all new and repaired controllers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have at least 2 years experience
- Must have electronics assembly and troubleshooting experience
- Must have soldering and wiring experience
- Must know how to use crimper tools for TE and many other AMP pin connectors
- Must be proficient in the use of a multimeter
- Must be able to read schematics and wire lists
- Must have a strong eye for detail
- Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Must be able to pass a drug test(including marijuana)
Starting pay is $18-20/hour, depending on experience
60-day review for possible advancement
Eligible for benefits after 60 days of employment
Salary : $18 - $20
