We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, ensuring proper payment processing.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Proficient time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with serving duties.
