Retail Store Manager – Natural Health & Nutrition

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager who is driven, knowledgeable in nutrition, natural health, and supplements (minimum 3 years experience), and committed to creating an outstanding experience for both customers and team members. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, selecting and procuring the highest-quality products, managing inventory, and leading a dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail purchasing, team leadership, and customer service, ensuring that our stores carry the right products at the right time while maintaining an inspiring atmosphere for both employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities:Purchasing & Inventory Management:
- Product Sourcing & Selection: Identify and select products that align with our company’s mission and customer needs. Stay informed on industry trends to ensure we offer the best selection.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules to maximize quality and profitability.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, prevent shortages or overstocking, and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Cost Efficiency: Track and analyze purchasing costs, always seeking ways to improve margins without compromising quality.
- Forecasting & Analysis: Work with sales and marketing teams to predict demand based on customer trends and seasonal needs. Provide regular reports on inventory performance.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all purchasing adheres to company policies. Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory reports.
Store Management & Leadership:
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of up to 10 staff members, fostering a culture of positivity, growth, and collaboration.
- Scheduling & Staffing: Manage schedules to ensure proper store coverage without overstaffing. Participate in hiring and onboarding new employees.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training to empower team members with knowledge of supplements, nutrition, and customer service excellence.
- Customer Service Excellence: Create a welcoming and informative shopping experience for every customer. Handle inquiries and concerns with empathy and effective solutions.
- Store Presentation: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising to enhance customer experience.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure team members follow store policies and procedures in a supportive and professional manner.
- Event Coordination: Assist with store events and promotions to engage and educate customers on natural health products.
Qualifications:
✅ 3 years of experience in nutrition, natural health, and supplements.
✅ At least 2 years of experience in retail management, purchasing, or procurement.
✅ Strong knowledge of inventory management, vendor negotiations, and supply chain processes.
✅ Proven leadership and team development skills.
✅ Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
✅ Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
✅ Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Passion for helping people improve their health and well-being.
Preferred Qualifications:

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
