The Support Financial Advisor is mid-level position as a financial advisor, which means a eligible candidate would have at least 2 years experience and active CFP Marks. They support the firm and it’s other financial advisors by actively bringing new clients into the firm, conducting client research, preparing for client meetings, and providing ongoing service and maintenance to clients. The Support Financial Advisor serves as an in-house expert on running introductory appointments with potential clients, serving as the point of contact and advice for our eRebel Clients and helping with the money coaching process to help our clients progress to our Silver and Gold client levels.
Position Responsibilities:
- Effectively work within an Advisory Team environment.
- Develop and utilize more advanced financial planning skills and expertise.
- Identify important financial planning issues and work through to build creative solutions to client problems/challenges.
- Learn and embrace rF's investment/planning approach and philosophy.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of wealth management.
- Most importantly: This is an entry level position in a technical field that also requires interpersonal and sales skills. If business development/sales scares you then you should look into our paraplanning career track.
Position Requirements:
- You must currently hold a CFP® designation.
- Direct experience working in financial services is preferred, with a minimum of experience in a professional business or customer service environment required.
- Additionally, past sales experience/success will vault you above other candidates.
- Bachelor's degree is required, with an emphasis in financial planning or business preferred.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Learns quickly and enjoys collaborating with others to meet challenges.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and GSuite.
