Rebel Off Road is hiring an automotive shop foreman for their shop in Lake Forest, CA. As a Shop Foreman, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our shop. You will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians and sales professionals, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. Your strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities will contribute to the success of the shop, and the satisfaction of our customers.
2 years' experience within the 4x4 and/or automotive industry is a must!
Responsibilities Include:
- Supervise, manage, and work with a team of technicians and sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Allocate work assignments to technicians; ensuring that work is performed in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Monitor and review the progress of work orders, ensuring that deadlines are met, and any issues or delays are promptly addressed.
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed repairs to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues or problems, providing technical expertise and guidance to technicians.
- Manage all accounting needs of the shop, insuring accuracy, timely processes, and completion.
- Maintaining all equipment and inventory; scheduling repairs and re-ordering where necessary.
- Collaborating with other departments to facilitate smooth workflow, and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, who has previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role (preferably in a shop or service center environment).
- Excellent technical knowledge and expertise in automotive, machinery, or relevant mechanical systems, who is proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical issues or problems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and other departments.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $4,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
