Rebellion Fabrication is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Detailing Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our detailing operations are efficient, accurate, and aligned with our company’s commitment to excellence in steel fabrication.

Job Type
Full-time – Salary Pay range: $70,000-$90,000

Qualifications | Experience

Required:

• Strong knowledge of detailing processes, including job folder structure, file management, and CNC data preparation.
• Proficiency in managing fabrication package imports and drawing management.
• Experience with project management tools and collaborating across teams.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in steel fabrication or a related industry.
• Familiarity with detailing software and CNC programming tools.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with project managers, engineers, and detailers.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and improve team practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Detailer Compliance:
  • Track specific issues and communicate with the PM/QA team and detailers.
  • Maintain ownership of the detailing manual and ensure it is up to date.
• RFI Communication:
  • Collaborate with QA/QC teams on RFIs and provide necessary communication to detailers.
• File & Release Management:
  • Manage job folder structures to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Oversee fabrication package imports and ensure smooth integration.
  • Handle CNC files and drawing management, ensuring precision and usability.
  • Coordinate job releases to the shop, collaborating closely with the purchasing team.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  • Review contract drawings and specifications for requirements and identify potential problems.
  • Work with project managers and engineers to resolve discrepancies in design drawings and specifications.
  • Document and maintain project-related files for accuracy and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with other detailers to improve practices and address the growing need for accurate CNC data.
  • Mentor the current CNC programmer and work to enhance CNC practices and utilization.
