Contract Administrator, Consultant

Location: Remote (NYC preferred)

Rebellion Records is an independent label scaling the next wave of dark pop and alternative culture. With a proven track record (2B streams, 20B video views in the last 12 months), our team moves fast, signs viral talent, and structures deals that drive global impact. We’re partnered with 10K Projects and Warner Chappell.

We’re hiring a contract-savvy operator to help manage our growing deal volume. This role is ideal for someone who can handle contract drafting and admin efficiently, flag legal risks, and bring order to a high-speed environment. You’ll have a seat at the table with artists, A&R, and business leadership—and your work will directly shape the future of the label.

• Draft and redline artist, producer, and distribution agreements
• Manage signature, filing, and metadata tracking across contracts
• Maintain deal calendars and obligation logs (advances, options, recoupables)
• Liaise with external counsel and internal teams to close deals on deadline
• Summarize complex terms for internal visibility
• Build repeatable workflows for artist onboarding and deal compliance

• 3–7 years in contract administration, label business affairs, or legal ops
• Strong working knowledge of music rights, royalties, and standard agreements
• Exceptional organizational skills and document hygiene
• Fast, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Legal degree is a plus, but not required if you’ve run this lane
• Comfortable advising senior staff and working in a startup-paced environment
