Duties
- Implement and execute merchandising strategies that align with company goals and customer preferences.
- Manage stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory is maintained to meet customer demand.
- Complete monthly promotional planner endcaps and displays to align with company marketing plan
- Oversee store remodeling projects, ensuring compliance with brand standards and effective use of space.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently during peak hours.
- Create and maintain schematics and planograms to optimize product placement on the sales floor.
- Collaborate with store management to train staff on merchandising techniques and visual standards.
- Responsible for ensuring overall store presentation and signage meets company guidelines.
Skills
- Minimum 2 years in a retail customer service role plus 3 years experience as a retail Assistant Manager or Department Manager in a high volume location
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in stock management practices to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Experience in store management or retail operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and customer service best practices.
- Ability to create effective schematics that enhance product visibility.
- Strong visual design skills to create appealing product displays that drive sales.
