Your Role at HEUC

As a valued team member, you will :

  • Order evidence-based testing, prescribe medications, and refer to outside specialists as required.
  • Provide occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and the treatment of Workers' Compensation injuries.
  • Perform pre-participation physicals for camps, sports, and employment.
  • Utilize a telemedicine platform to evaluate and treat patients off-site, in addition to providing in-person care.
  • Provide an authenticated report of all services rendered and maintain accurate and complete records in an acceptable manner.
  • Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
  • Maintain patient charts accurately and comprehensively.
  • Be self-directed and self-motivated; have good communication, interpersonal skills and work independently.
  • Be able to see a high volume of patients.
  • Be experienced with pediatric patients and procedures.
  • Convey empathy and compassion to those experiencing pain, physical or emotional distress, and / or grief.
  • Communicate effectively with people from every socioeconomic, cultural, and educational background.
  • Participate in activities that enhance professional development, complete and maintain certification in BLS or ACLS (ATLS, PALS, or NALS optional), and maintain any additional specialty training / certifications as required by the area assigned.

  • DEA Certification
  • ACLS / BLS Certification
  • Experience in urgent care or emergency care is preferred but not required.
