Lead Mitigation Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Technician to join our restoration team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the restoration industry, particularly in areas such as water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire restoration, and asbestos abatement. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage projects, coordinate with team members, and ensure high-quality service delivery to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively for various restoration tasks including cleaning, building, and restoring affected areas.
• Conduct thorough assessments of damaged properties to determine the appropriate restoration processes required.
• Implement water damage restoration techniques and mold remediation strategies to restore properties to their pre-loss condition.
• Manage fire restoration efforts, including smoke damage cleanup and structural repairs.
• Perform carpet cleaning and other specialized cleaning services as needed.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices in the restoration industry.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used during each project.

Experience

• Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on water damage restoration, mold remediation, fire restoration, and asbestos abatement.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to the restoration process.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
• A commitment to safety standards and quality assurance throughout all phases of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
