Position Overview

The Reconstruction Technician plays a critical role in rebuilding commercial properties after water, fire, mold, and storm damage. You will be responsible for performing demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, painting, and finishing work to restore buildings to pre-loss condition.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Perform demolition and structural repairs following mitigation services
✅ Install and repair drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim, and ceilings
✅ Complete framing, insulation, and finish carpentry
✅ Execute painting, caulking, and sealing to professional standards
✅ Ensure all work meets safety regulations, industry standards, and project timelines
✅ Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients
✅ Maintain a clean and organized job site
✅ Assist with material inventory and ensure proper use of company tools
✅ Follow OSHA and company safety protocols

Requirements & Qualifications

✔ experience in construction, carpentry, or related field
✔ Knowledge of commercial building codes and industry best practices
✔ Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed work orders
✔ Proficiency in using hand and power tools
✔ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
✔ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
✔ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
✔ Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
✔ Availability for occasional overtime and emergency response work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
