ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
Rebuilding Together Montgomery County (RTMC) works in partnership with community volunteers to provide free home repairs, accessibility modifications and links to community resources to keep low-income homeowners living safely and independently in their homes. RTMC was founded in 1990 and is one of 114 affiliates of the national organization, Rebuilding Together, which was founded in 1973 and formerly known as “Christmas in April.” This year we are working towards providing 130 homes throughout Montgomery County with free critical repairs to their homes with everything from accessibility work to new roofs!
THE POSITION:
Reporting to the Manager of Program Services (MP) and the Director of Program Services (DPS), the Bilingual Project Coordinator will focus on assisting the Program Team in achieving the annual goals and objectives of RTMC’s programs that benefit our clients through professional and volunteer home repair services.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the field oversight, execution, and coordination of home/community revitalization repair programs and services offered by RTMC. In collaboration with the Program Team, the Project Coordinator is responsible for home assessments, client relations, contractor/volunteer supervision, and project scope development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Serve as clients’ main point of contact, ensuring a high level of communication and support throughout the project and repair stage of program services through in-person, email, and phone interactions.
· Meet with clients to complete comprehensive home assessments, develop appropriate project scopes, and work with other RTMC team members to execute projects that reflect and serve client needs.
· Oversee contractor projects, including the walkthrough and bidding processes, adjusting the scopes of work based on budget, and communicating the repairs and process in an easy-to-understand manner with clients.
· Assist in RTMC volunteer events, including identifying good projects for volunteers, managing and training volunteers, assessing scopes of work, and strengthening homeowner/volunteer relationships.
· Actively track project and repair information within database (Salesforce) during and after home repair projects, including status of repairs and projects, photographs, home assessments, clien documents, and project contracts.
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
· Interest in the mission of RTMC and serving a diverse group of clients and communities with compassion and respect.
· 1 years of experience of project coordination and/or client relationship management is preferred.
· Demonstrated experience in overseeing multiple objectives at once to hit goals.
· Must enjoy meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment
· Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
· Flexible and adaptive style with ability to work well with diverse groups, including homeowners, volunteers, community groups, and sponsors.
· Self-motivated and ability to work independently as well as a part of a team – we support one another!
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience using Salesforce a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The demands described are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- Physical stamina and agility – must be able to lift 20 pounds and navigate project sites.
- Must pass all criminal history and background checks.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required to drive RTMC vehicles.
- Attend and participate in mandatory training, staff meetings, and all other events as scheduled.
- Some weekend and evening work may be required but will be flex hours will be given as needed.

WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time hybrid 9am-5pm position Monday-Friday position with a hybrid at home and in-person schedule. The Project Coordinator will be expected to be in-person several days a week to travel around Montgomery County in company vehicle to meet clients.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a full-time position with a comprehensive and generous benefit package. The annual salary is $40,000.00 - $42,500.00 depending on experience.
