Position Summary:
The Business Development Coordinator plays a critical role in driving REC’s growth by building and maintaining relationships with potential clients and identifying new business opportunities. This position requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for networking, and excels in sales and relationship management. As a vital part of the Marketing & Sales team, you will use strategic outreach, industry knowledge, and strong communication skills to generate leads, schedule introductory calls, and move prospects through the sales funnel. Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably with a focus on agency sales
- Familiarity with CRM systems, especially HubSpot
- Ability to thrive in a goal-oriented and collaborative environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with potential clients through proactive outreach and attend at least three networking events weekly.
- Travel as needed to foster relationships and represent REC at industry events.
- Identify net-new leads and consistently schedule discovery calls to meet goals.
- Schedule and conduct introductory calls with potential clients before transitioning them to the sales team.
- Take detailed notes during discovery calls using standardized templates.
- Maintain a strong LinkedIn presence, engaging with connections and conducting cold outreach.
- Conduct online research to identify new prospects and execute aggressive cold outreach via phone and email.
- Drive leads through the sales funnel, keeping the CRM Pipeline updated accurately.
- Plan and schedule follow-ups with clients, prioritizing those ready for decks and agreements.
- Prepare a monthly Pipeline Report and update weekly reporting metrics.
