What are the responsibilities and job description for the Studio Contractor position at REC?
My Studio Team at REC is looking for motivated candidates who are actively involved in the local Philly creative community that want to share their experience with content creators at a co-working studio. A Studio Contractor will learn a lot the core principles behind many of the important functionalities. There will be opportunities to assist and potentially lead A/V and technical material, while taking part in live events and programming.
This is an onsite position at 901 Market St Phila. PA 19107.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure facility policies & procedures are upheld within REC by Members and Visitors
- Assist in any labor required for setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting of studios/equipment/events
- Provide customer support on-site, over the phone, and through digital communications
- Oversee equipment rental operations including checking in and out equipment, reviewing for damages and maintenance needs, and documenting any incidents
- Maintain supply inventory for facility through regular inventory (eg: bathroom supplies, studio supplies, kitchen supplies) Ensure supplies are in stock, procure/purchase new supplies
- Maintain and organize all studios and communal spaces
Requirements:
- Able to carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to climb ladders and lift over one’s head
- 15-20 hours weekly
- You will be expected to provide your own laptop
