Contact Representative
Receivables Management Systems (RMS) is a third-party service provider with over twenty-five years of collections experience. We pride ourselves on providing quality collections services to our clients with a customer-focused approach.
Summary:
The primary responsibility of our Contact Representatives is to provide over-the-phone assistance to individuals with past due balances with our clients. You will assist customers with a wide range of issues, including answering questions related to all aspects of collections and providing solutions to satisfy customer and client needs. This role requires the ability to work with a variety of internal and external business partners to resolve balances as quickly as possible.
Our Contact Representatives participate in a generous monthly bonus incentive plan, weekly and/or monthly contests for prizes, team-building outings, luncheons, and more!
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to handle account-related concerns and recommend optimal solutions.
· Answer consumer questions regarding the past due balances.
· Identify barriers and propose resolutions.
· Provide excellent customer service to promote client/customer relationship.
· Collect and process credit card payments, set up payment plans and follow up on accounts.
· Properly document all activity in collections system.
· Assist other contact representatives and coworkers, as needed.
Qualifications:
· Call Center Experience (Preferred)
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Ability to learn new systems/programs.
· Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
· Critical thinking skills.
· Bilingual is a plus, but not necessary.
