Position : Pediatric Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location : Recess Pediatric Therapy, San Gabriel Valley to Greater Los Angeles Area
Employment Type : Full-Time / Part-Time (minimum 18 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities :
- Assist Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) in conducting thorough evaluations to assess the speech and language therapy needs of pediatric clients.
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the SLPs based on assessment results and the unique needs of each child.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of SLPs, including interventions to enhance communication skills, speech production, language comprehension, and social communication.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes.
- Monitor and document progress towards therapy goals, reporting adjustments needed to the supervising SLP.
- Educate families and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to support the child’s communication development at home.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in pediatric speech and language therapy.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
