About The Role
The Facilities Leader is responsible for the asset reliability, maintenance, and performance of all Utilities & Facilities equipment, installations and building in the factory, leading the facilities technicians, reporting into this position. This involves being in compliance and passing all EHS / Regulatory / Legal internal and external audits related to Facilities.

$82 - 122K per year
Pay Transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.

About The Role
The Facilities Leader is responsible for the asset reliability, maintenance, and performance of all Utilities & Facilities equipment, installations and building in the factory, leading the facilities technicians, reporting into this position. Your responsibilities
- Ensures that required work is planned, scheduled, and performed on a timely basis and is not forgotten or neglected, effectively manages maintenance backlog. Communicates needs for overtime if backlog requires.
- Collaborates with maintenance planner to manage work tasks for internal/external resources.
- Completes timely follow-up of planned maintenance activities.
- Serves as lead for internal and contracted maintenance activities related to the maintaining, repairing, and improvement of site assets.
- Maintains equipment, parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
- Provide key technical support in capital projects and new process/product development
- Establishes priorities, allocates resources and develops action plans to drive improvement.
- Provides technical assistance and/or resources to address maintenance issues as required
- Assist Project Engineers in the planning of work requests to achieve LOTO, New Spare Parts Setup, and Technical Support.
- Responsible for the scheduling and staffing work around production.
- Ability to manage resources and timeline for plant outages and capital projects
- Actively participates in safety initiatives to support overall safety program.
- Able to support off-shit, weekend, and holiday maintenance activities.
- Responsible for compliance of Legal, Regulatory, EHS and Quality requirements for Facilities and Utilities equipment / installations. This involves readiness and leading all external and internal inspections related.
- Associates Degree in a technical field with 5 year’s facilities or production maintenance experience and/or 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing maintenance role is preferred. Consideration will be given to candidates with High School Diploma and 5 years’ experience in a production maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP Plant Maintenance)
- Knowledge of maintenance activities and capabilities including PDM Technologies (Thermography, Vibration Analysis, Ultrasonic Systems), Area Based Ownership and Store Room Operations.
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations and support systems.
- Familiar with chemical transferring, piping, pumps, valves, and materials.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of utility support systems facility and manufacturing area related.
- Must possess problem solving skills and have knowledge of root cause analysis, cause and effect analysis and failure mode and effect analysis.
- Is able to effectively communicate issues and gain the cooperation and support of diverse work groups and clients often with opposing priorities, works well under pressure.
- Must be an effective communicator and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Has experience with fire alarm systems, fire systems (mechanical), RTO, Tanks, RTU, Boilers, RO, and DI water
- Must possess good technical writing skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet or exceed deadlines. Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs on a frequent basis
