About the role
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Flex as needed; Weekends as needed
Your responsibilities
- Driving continuous improvement processes including Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Visual Metrics, and 5S
- Collaborating with all Supply Chain functions, R&D (Research & Development), Marketing, Finance and Human Resources to meet company and department objectives
- Leading the implementation of projects and processes to improve safety, quality, cost, and customer service
- Optimizing capacity and staffing strategies
- Working with the leadership team to develop strategy, priorities, and business plans
- Developing and executing a productivity agenda – holding self and others accountable for results; creating and developing a high performing team of talent; sustaining the flexibility and responsiveness of a non-union workforce through the development and leadership of team-based culture
Qualifications
- Proven problem-solving skills and leadership skills in developing people and organizations to translate strategy into specific tactical actions. Capable of getting desired results in a matrix management culture
- Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing is highly preferred
- Experience in both union and non-union settings is preferrable
- Preferred knowledge: liquid processing, powder drying, powder blending and packaging processes; working with FDA or other regulatory agencies
Educations / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Food Science, or related field is required
- Three to five years’ experience managing a manufacturing operation preferably within a food, pharmaceutical or a consumer products company
- Master’s degree in business administration preferred

US salary ranges
USD $95,000.00 - $119,000.00 / Annually

US pay transparency
The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
