Reclaim is a community resource providing pathways to stability, opportunity & connection. Our goal is to increase housing stability and community connections in the Snoqualmie Valley through comprehensive support services.
Severe Weather Shelter :
Reclaim operates an adult-only severe weather shelter in downtown Snoqualmie when temperature or air quality make it unsafe for living outside. When activated the shelter operates 24 / 7 and provides beds and meals for people experiencing homelessness. Families are sheltered at local motels. The severe weather shelter is open approximately 40 days per year.
Job Summary :
The role of Severe Weather Shelter Staff is to ensure the well-being of both clients and volunteers while overseeing regular routines in our severe weather shelter. Staff oversee all aspects of shelter operations while providing professional and compassionate support to our clients. Shelter Staff have a genuine concern for others, an ability to multitask and independently prioritize tasks along with the ability to maintain professional boundaries. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals in need and contribute to the mission of increasing stability and connection in our community.
Available Shifts :
8p-8a every night shelter is open
8a - 8p Saturday and Sundays when shelter is open
Additional week-day shifts may be possible to cover for regular staff (8a-8p)
