We are looking for a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Part-Time Motel Manager to oversee daily operations and guest experiences at our motel. This role involves managing guest communications, reservations, and billing while ensuring smooth operations.
- Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and ensure guests have properly registered.
- Address guest concerns, complaints, and special requests.
- Send pre-arrival and post-stay messages when automation doesn’t cover them (e.g., review requests).
- Extend door codes for guests with late check-outs.
- Answer FAQs, such as WiFi details, check-out times, and local recommendations.
- Notify guests of important updates (e.g., maintenance, policy changes).
- Close out open bills and process payments for room add-ons (e.g., pet fees).
- Manage refunds, chargebacks, and tailored billing scenarios (e.g., weddings).
- Approve or deny refunds and chargeback disputes.
- Escalate major issues (e.g., security concerns, facility emergencies) to motel owners.
- Mediate disputes between guests and staff as needed.
- Experience in hospitality, property management, or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using online tools (Google suite) and quick to learn property management systems (e.g., Cloudbeds, Akia, RemoteLock).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks remotely.
