What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate position at Recon Sportswear?
- ABOUT US
Recon Sports Wear is a company that specializes in providing and manufacturing many different types of apparel. Several departments work tirelessly to ensure that every order is filled as quickly as possible with the highest-quality product. The DTG department focuses on the manufacturing of custom items and individual orders from the family to drill sergeants. They accomplish this by utilizing several different DTG technologies and striving for faster printing of higher quality every day.
ABOUT THE ROLE (Epson DTG operator)
The primary goal of an Epson DTG operator is to ensure that all of the orders that have been placed and are ready to be completed are printed and processed to be prepared for shipping or delivery. They achieve this by utilizing the Epson 3070. But this also includes taking orders from the designated area that are ready to be printed with the oldest first. Along with grabbing and heat-pressing the items for those orders. We do this in a structured way to make them ready to be worked on, we call this prepping. After prepping the orders, they are printed and run through a large industrial dryer. At the end of the dryer, there is generally someone to finish processing the item to ensure that it is ready to be delivered to the customer. If no one is available to help at the end of the dryer you are expected to ensure that the printed items are processed. Processing items and orders at the end of the dryer is simply verifying the quality of the item to ensure there are no defects and folding the items, along with matching the Items to the correct order and placing them in the correct to-go area.
