What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Technician position at Recondition Pros?
Summary:
ReCondition Pros is a high volume automotive reconditioning company that has experienced rapid growth and success. We are a team based company that believes in developing and training our associates and working towards a team goal everyday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adheres to Company safety rules and policies
Responsible for:
light sanding up to matching body lines
blocking and glazing
crease repair
stud welding
recreating body lines
plastic repair
hammering out or filling depressions with body filler, remove damaged fenders/panels
file, grind and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools before turning vehicles over to the Paint Department
reassemble parts after being painted
Requires the use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to: mask, gloves, face shield/goggles, non-slip shoes and/or other protective garments/equipment as needed
May be required to work overtime as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by ReCondition Pros managemen
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or GED preferred
3 years body experience required
Must have own tools
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
Attention to detail
Basic computer skills will be required
Must be able to ready, write and communicate effectively in English
Must be highly motivated, self-starter and work as a team player
Must have high levels of attention to detail, be able to multi-task and stay organized
Must demonstrate the ability to act professionally
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time throughout the shift
Must be able to occasionally move about inside the warehouse to access cabinets, supplies, etc
Must be able to to occasionally lift, move, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
