Car Runner

Summary:

This position will include moving vehicles around the customer location.  This position will also have the opportunity to learn different aspects of automotive reconditioning such as wheel repair, exterior car detailing, paint prepper/masking tech work, if desired.

1st shift hours:  7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to Company safety rules and policies

• Safely drive and operate vehicle at all times while obeying all traffic laws  

• Inspect and monitor vehicle

• Use hand held device for photographs, log-in/log-out vehicles and customer information

• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the areas while adhering to a time schedule

• Must be comfortable moving vehicles and working in inclement weather (i.e. wind, rain, snow, heat, etc.)

• Help with the Wheel Repair Department, as needed

• Requires the use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to:  mask, gloves, face shield/goggles, non-slip shoes and/or other protective garments/equipment as needed

• May be required to work overtime as needed

• Perform other duties as assigned by ReCondition Pros management

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED preferred

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have a valid and clean driver’s license

• Must be able to drive an automatic and stick shift 

• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening

• Experience in delivery driving, customer service or other related fields is preferred

• Basic computer skills preferred

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English

• Must be highly motivated, self-starter and work as a team player

• Must have high levels of attention to detail, be able to multi-task and stay organized

• Must demonstrate the ability to act professionally

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time throughout the shift

• Must be able to occasionally move about inside the warehouse to access cabinets, supplies, etc

• Must be able to to occasionally lift, move, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
