What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wheel Repair Team Lead position at Recondition Pros?
Summary:
As a Wheel Repair Team Lead, you will also be responsible for all of the same duties as a Wheel Repair Tech employee. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordination and productivity of your team members. You will also provide quality checks of your team members, offer training assistance and be available for questions. This position will work on-site at our customer location.
1st shift hours: 7am - 3:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adheres to Company safety rules and policies
Safely drive and operate vehicle at all times while obeying all traffic laws
Responsible for:
Having the team fill the work area with 24-28 vehicles when necessary
Send Site Manager the following information twice daily at 7:10am & 12:10pm - Wheel zone count; in progress count; red hat count.
Check vehicles in using the ReConPro app
Audit and stock consumables
Direct the team and resolve production constraints as needed
Quality check completed work
Give feedback on any quality defects and delegate to the technician to correct
Check out vehicles using the ReConPro app. Cross completed work off the window and mark ‘RP’ on the back window.
Verify team has cleaned their guns after rotation
Repeat for 2-3 rotations a day
Submit all invoices at/by EOD
Use hand held device for photographs, log-in/log-out vehicles and customer information
Must be comfortable moving vehicles and working in inclement weather (i.e. wind, rain, snow, heat, etc.)
Requires the use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to: mask, gloves, face shield/goggles, non-slip shoes and/or other protective garments/equipment as needed
May be required to work overtime as needed
Perform other duties as assigned by ReCondition Pros management
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or GED preferred
3 years of wheel repair/paint experience preferred
Basic computer skills will be required
Experience in customer service or other related fields is preferred
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
Must have a valid and clean driver’s license
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Must be highly motivated, self-starter and work as a team player
Must have high levels of attention to detail, be able to multitask and stay organized
Must demonstrate the ability to act professionally
No travel required
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time throughout the shift
Must be able to occasionally move about inside the warehouse to access cabinets, supplies, etc
Must be able to to occasionally lift, move, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
