POSITION SUMMARY :
The Human Resources Generalist provides a variety of Human Resources services and support in several key areas. Duties may include but are not limited to;
employee engagement, recruitment, on-boarding, organizational development, talent management, compensation and compliance.
This position may also contribute to special initiatives, programs and projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES :
- Supports organizational effectiveness through alignment of people, processes, structure, and culture with business strategies.
- Monitors contingent staffing process; partners with agency representatives.
- Leads end-to-end recruitment process in order to meet the staffing needs for quality, quantity and timeliness.
- Takes initiative to manage employee data in HRIS; maintains data integrity.
- Provides HR metrics and makes recommendations to improve business performance.
- Work with HR management on projects to improve organizational culture and climate.
- Work with Shared Services on the implementation of programs.
- Coaches managers, supervisors and line leaders on effective staff management and the correct application of internal labor regulations, policies disciplinary actions and procedures.
- Promotes company culture.
- Promotes recognition programs.
- Reviews and approves performance evaluations of staff.
- Responsible for development and coordination of events for staff within approved budget.
- Conducts investigations.
- Partner with HR team and business leaders on regional projects and programs.
- Performs exit interviews and analyzes trends for organizational changes.
- Interfaces with employees regarding questions related to hours, wages, timecards, and general concerns.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field preferred.
- Experience with end-to-end recruitment of talent.
- Strong written and verbal communications.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience in manufacturing preferred.
Experience in MS Office, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
