What You’ll Do
Under the direction of the Security Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring facilities via surveillance systems, alarm panels, and on-site patrols.
- Responding to emergencies, assisting with evacuations, and coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- Documenting incidents and submitting reports.
- Locking/unlocking entrances at scheduled times and maintaining perimeter integrity.
- De-escalating situations and escorting individuals off property as needed.
- Conducting safety drills and supporting evacuation procedures.
- Providing guidance on company security protocols to employees and contractors.
- Performing routine inspections and audits of security systems and equipment.
- Maintaining a presence in the parking lot to manage traffic flow and monitor activity.
- Supporting weekend, holiday, or overtime shifts as needed.

Job requirements
What You Bring
- Active Texas Level II Security License (Required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education is a plus).
- Clean criminal background and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency with surveillance systems and basic security technology.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
