We are currently hiring a Front Desk Receptionist for our Vineland office.

Front Desk Receptionist Essential Functions:
  • Provides professional customer service by greeting patients and guests warmly and courteously, and direct or escort to intended destination
  • Assists in pre and post appointment operations such as chart preparation and transmitting paperwork to appropriate parties
  • Schedules or reschedules patient appointments as necessary
  • Obtains, verifies and scans necessary clinical, demographic and insurance information, referrals, pre-certifications and testing results
  • Reviews, updates and communicates physician schedule status (cancellations, no shows, reschedules and add-ons) ensuring that patients and providers are attended to at all times
  • Keeps management informed of changes in work flow processes, issues or concerns affecting productivity.
  • Participates in activities of stocking and restocking to ensure supplies are available to providers
  • Accurately documents patient accounts of all actions taken
  • Schedules or reschedules patient appointments as necessary
  • Interacts professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers
  • Works independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and management, and demonstrates teamwork when needed
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality; adhering to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required
  • Completes additional projects, duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Skills and Qualifications
  • Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Professionalism, Quality Focus, Medical terminology knowledge, and experience with Navinet & EMR highly desired.
  • Some medical experience is required
Working Conditions
  • Works primarily in a climate controlled environment
  • Regular sitting, stooping, walking, and bending
  • Occasional lifting (overhead, waste level) from floor up to 25 pounds
  • Position is in a fast paced and multi-task Medical Office environment and interacts with medically fragile, ill, and/or distressed patients on a daily basis
  • Position may require travel between locations

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a High School Diploma or GED, and should have a minimum of one year prior experience in a customer service oriented role/medical experience highly desired.
