As an Inventory and Records Management Associate, you will work on-site at our client’s location to help keep them compliant with Federal and State requirements. Our Inventory and Records Management Associates identify, sort and catalog inactive documents and set the appropriate date for their destruction.
Additionally, you will conduct on-site fixed asset inventories that require a room-by-room inspection and accounting of all assets within a project scope. Assets are tagged with a barcode, and asset information is collected by utilizing a handheld scanner.
This position requires organization, attention to detail, data entry skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. As an Inventory and Records Management Associate, you will find yourself working in a variety of locations from the city’s mayor’s office, maintenance yard, school classrooms to the science lab at a college or university.
Travel: This position requires WEEKLY OVERNIGHT TRAVEL. In a typical week, you will travel to a client’s location on Monday and return home on Friday (home most weekends). Travel may require flying while some clients will be within a driving distance and require you to commute using your own vehicle. Reliable vehicle, driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record are required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately scan, count, and barcode assets according to client requirements
- Identify, sort, catalogue, and determine destruction dates for records
- Receive and review daily assignments with Project Coordinator
- Perform daily and weekly quality control checks with Project Coordinator
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients on job sites
- Collaborate with Team Members to provide the best service and value to clients
Schedule:
Full-time
Monday – Friday, occasional weekend hours required
Weekly, overnight travel
Qualifications and Requirements :
· Previous experience in inventory management and/or records management preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
· Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
· Desire and willingness to learn
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
· Must be able to pass a drug screening test, background check and have clean motor
vehicle report
· Must have a reliable vehicle, driver’s license, auto insurance
· Available for travel every week, all year
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to lift and move 40lbs
· Lifting, standing, walking and driving are required
