Key Responsibilities
- Develop code-compliant electrical design drawings utilizing AutoCAD and BIM.
- Interpret and analyze architectural and mechanical engineering drawings/blueprints.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to assess internal requirements, create new designs, and modify existing ones.
- Generate part detail and assembly prints in accordance with established engineering standards.
- Create detailed electrical one-line and three-line diagrams as well as electrical control schematics.
- Compile material lists for ordering and fabrication purposes.
- Coordinate with team members to design or layout intricate components and troubleshoot design challenges.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM.
- Solid understanding of electrical power and control wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic and wiring diagrams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and time efficiently.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing both high and low voltage electrical industrial systems.
- Prior experience in industrial electrical installation is preferred.
- Familiarity with control and instrumentation circuits in compliance with UL, NEC, and NFPA standards.
- A self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
