Recore Electric is currently seeking a field lineman for our Industrial Electric Division.
Job Duties: (Depending on experience and certifications)
Associate will be involved in building, maintaining, and repairing industrial power distribution systems. This position will mainly be working with power distribution systems located inside and outside of industrial facilities. These systems can be overhead, underground, and inside industrial facilities. Candidates will also be expected to have experience with at least some of the equipment used to work different types of power distribution systems, as well as the following responsibilities:
? Perform less difficult and/or routine installations and repairs independently and with minimal supervision.
? Operate equipment such as bucket trucks, line trucks, mini excavator, skid steers, trenchers, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
? Plan jobs to ensure compliance with approved safety and construction standards and procedures.
? Maintain work records.
? Stock line trucks and maintain tools and equipment.
? Drive, maintain and operate line vehicles and properly stations them for the work to be done.
Requirements/Experience
? Previous experience in the electrical field or operating machinery.
? Prior experience setting poles and string wire, utilizes and operates equipment (e.g., aerial bucket trucks, and other construction equipment), materials, and manpower in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
? Prior experience running electrical undergrounds
? Ability to follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively both
verbally, and in writing.
? Ability effectively and tactfully communicate with fellow employees, supervisors, and customers.
? Capacity to weigh efficiency and relative priorities in performing tasks.
? Ability to perform Repetitive motion with hands, wrists, and fingers.
? Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
under varying climatic conditions.
? Must be comfortable working with heights.
? Ability to move/lift objects up to 50 pounds or more.
