Registered Nurse – Chronic Dialysis

About the Role
Recovered Health is looking for a traveler to do contract work with a national leader in providing compassionate, home-based hemodialysis within skilled nursing facilities. They are revolutionizing dialysis care by delivering shorter, gentler, and more frequent treatments tailored to the geriatric population—improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of life.
As a Dialysis RN, you’ll work in a dedicated on-site dialysis den (within a SNF), caring for adult and geriatric patients using our innovative NxStage home hemodialysis system. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference with a forward-thinking care model.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct hemodialysis treatment using the NxStage dialysis machine.
- Monitor patient vitals and treatment response during dialysis sessions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and staff on dialysis procedures, equipment, and aftercare.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Crown Web EMR.
- Follow all state and federal regulations for dialysis and infection control.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of current dialysis nursing experience (chronic preferred).
- Current RN license in the state of Ohio.
- Experience with NxStage dialysis equipment – must be clearly documented.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Geriatric care experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree.
- CNN or CDN certification.
- Familiarity with Crown Web EMR system.
Certifications
- BLS (AHA) – Active and current
