From conducting assessments to leading both individual and group counseling sessions, your work will be pivotal in guiding clients toward lasting recovery and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs.
- Lead group and individual counseling sessions that foster healing, growth, and progress.
- Collaborate with clients, their families, and medical professionals to create holistic, individualized care strategies.
- Keep detailed, accurate records of clients’ progress and milestones.
- Regularly communicate with the Outpatient Clinic Director and Mental Health Professionals to ensure optimal care for each client.
- Provide clients with the resources and guidance they need for a successful recovery journey beyond treatment.
Qualifications:
- Active licensure as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Minnesota, or a Temporary Permit.
- Strong understanding of MN State laws, including chapters 245G, 245A, and sections 626.556, 626.557, and 626.5572.
- Proficiency with office technology, including computers and printers.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
