Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, On Call, Weekend, and Holiday Rotation
Pay: $55,000 - $80,630 per year (based on experience)
Hiring Bonus: $10,000

Key Responsibilities
- Client Assessments: Complete Comprehensive Assessments, GAIN-SS, and Initial Service Plans for clients at intake
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and objectives, and update these plans regularly in collaboration with clients
- Communication: Collaborate regularly with the Clinical Director and Mental Health Professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach
- Counseling: Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions to address chemical dependency and related issues
- Continuing Care: Assist clients in developing a viable, individualized continuing care plan, including referrals to relevant services
- Family Involvement: Support family members and concerned persons with sober support resources
- Documentation: Maintain accurate client records and progress notes in accordance with program policies and procedures
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous education to stay up-to-date on Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders
For counselors with a temporary permit, weekly supervision with the supervisor is required to review client assessments and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Must be licensed as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Minnesota (or hold a Temporary Permit in good standing)
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with MN Chapter 245G, 245A, and other relevant statutes
- Technology Skills: Proficiency with office equipment and computer systems
- Communication: Ability to clearly convey and receive information with clients, staff, and external stakeholders
