What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor, Textile Restoration position at Recovery Cleaners?
Lead with Purpose | Build a Team | Make an Impact
Are you a hands-on leader who takes pride in building strong teams and running efficient operations? Do you love the fast-paced energy of a small business, where every decision you make has a direct impact on the team and customers you serve? If you're someone who leads with heart, thrives on teamwork, and is ready to grow with a company that truly values you, this could be the perfect role.
Who We Are
For over 30 years, Recovery Cleaners has been helping families and businesses get back on their feet after fires, floods, and disasters. We don’t just clean clothes—we restore memories. From a child’s favorite stuffed animal to a wedding dress that holds decades of meaning, we take care of each item with expertise and compassion.
As a woman-owned, family-driven company, we believe in putting people first—our customers, our employees, and the communities we serve. We are growing and looking for a Production Leader who is ready to step up, take ownership, and be a key part of our future.
About the Role
This isn’t a corporate desk job—it’s a hands-on leadership role in a fast-moving production environment. If you have experience managing a small team in dry cleaning, laundry services, or a similar production setting, we can teach you everything you need to know. The right person for this role doesn’t need a big corporate background—you just need strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a true passion for getting things done.
As our Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations at our Michigan facility, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll also play a key role in helping our new Ohio expansion get off the ground. We need someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, lead by example, and create a positive, productive team environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead & Motivate Your Team – Train, support, and inspire a hardworking crew, helping them succeed and grow.
- Keep Production Moving – Oversee the entire textile cleaning process, ensuring fast turnaround times while maintaining our high-quality standards.
- Problem-Solve & Adapt – Things don’t always go as planned. You’ll need to think on your feet and find solutions to keep things running smoothly.
- Support Our Growth – Help us build and refine systems as we expand into Ohio, ensuring seamless communication and operations between locations.
- Create a Positive Culture – We believe in teamwork, respect, and accountability. You’ll help set the tone for a workplace where people enjoy coming to work.
- Use Simple Tech to Stay Organized – We’ll provide training on inventory tracking and workflow systems, but basic comfort with technology is a plus.
Who We’re Looking For
- A natural leader who enjoys building and mentoring a team.
- Someone with high emotional intelligence—able to motivate people, handle challenges, and keep things running smoothly.
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset—you don’t wait for direction; you see what needs to be done and make it happen.
- A small-business mentality—you care about the company’s success like it’s your own, because here, your work truly matters.
- Experience in dry cleaning, laundromats, or small production facilities is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with strong leadership and operational skills.
What We Offer
- A company that truly values you – You’re not just a number here. We’re a small, tight-knit team that takes care of our people.
- A leadership role with room to grow – This is a chance to make a real impact and help shape the future of our company.
- Competitive salary ($60,000-$65,000) plus full benefits:
- 401(k) with company match
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Life insurance
- Paid time off
- Professional development opportunities
- Employee referral program
