We are looking for a highly creative Graphic Designer to join our team and help design, produce and deliver high quality creative and marketing materials to help us do that.Work LocationThis is a Madison-based role. To be effective in this role, we would like you to work in our office in Madison on average 3 times per week.How you know you're being successfulYou are producing work that drives engagement on social platforms, the recovery.com resource library and other mediums.You execute design concepts and layout projects from concept to finished product efficiently and effectivelyYou collaborate with other team members and ensure all projects are completed accurately and on timeYou work effectively with the Recovery media team to execute media production for podcast, social media and other media effortsWe'll expect you to do things like these : Create graphics, short form video, and other content formats for social media and the recovery.com resource libraryCreate converting display and video adsDevelop and maintain company aesthetic, branding guidelines and style guidesSupport our rebranding efforts including updating our look and feel across marketing materialsShort and long form video / audio storytellingSupport podcast production, content creation from podcast (clips, audio, graphics, etc.) and other recovery media effortsInnovative and creative visual storytellingRequired QualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field4 years of experience in graphic design and social media content productionExperience with design software (i.e. Figma, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere.)Experience with video editing and productionStrong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layoutExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work well in a fast-paced, high output, deadline-driven environmentStrong attention to detailComprehensive portfolio reflecting diversity of design experience, style, and techniqueWhat we think will improve your chances of success : Understanding of layout, aesthetics, and basic design principlesThe ability to collaborate and translate design needs from multiple departmentsExperience in creating compelling content for social media platformsExperience building infographics and other illustrated graphicsTravel ExpectationsThis role will be required to attend bi-annual company retreats. The goal of these retreats is to learn about the organization and to build connections across departments and with remote team members.CompensationThe base salary range for this position is $65 - $80k, plus eligible benefits and equity options. Compensation may be adjusted based on tenure and experience.Estimated First Year Compensation : $80,323 - $96,823 (inclusive of Dane County Stipend and Company Bonus Program)Dane County Housing StipendWe strongly value in-person work and collaboration, so for full-time employees residing in Dane County, we offer a housing stipend of $735.25 / month in addition to your salary ($8,823 / yr; half of the Fair Market Value of a 2BR apartment in Madison according to rentdata.org).Company Bonus ProgramAn additional 10% of base earnings paid out quarterly when the company meets its revenue target.Equity OptionsIn addition to your cash compensation, you will receive options to buy stock in Recover.com at a set strike price. Salary : $80,323 - $96,823
