Job Description – Assistant Comptroller
Recovery Place, a successful award-winning non-profit substance abuse treatment facility, is seeking an Assistant Comptroller to join its growing accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience working for a non-profit agency or two years of audit experience in a CPA firm, possess a strong work ethic and have a desire to learn and grow as an accountant. The Assistant Comptroller will help manage the day-to-day operations of a very complex accounting department, will provide back-up coverage for AP and AR specialists, bill state contracts, support financial and single audits, help with month-end closing, and work with Comptroller and CFO on special projects.
