Job Overview
Frisco Recovery Resources is currently hiring an overnight Behavioral Health / Detox Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience working in behavioral health field and possess a strong passion for helping others.
You will be responsible for providing care to detox clients, which includes filing out daily paperwork, answering phone, daily cleaning and providing clients' direct care, such as taking vitals, providing meals, and administering medications when needed.
This is a great gateway position in mental health field and client care with real potential to grow. Experience is preferred, but not required! Full training is available.

Responsibilities:
- Implement clients' interviews regarding their medical, behavioral and biopsychosocial history related to their substance abuse problems
- Work with clients to identify the appropriate program for treatment and rehabilitation
- Collect data on clients' vitals and progress
- Coordinate with clients to identify appropriate programs to promote prevention of alcohol and drug abuse
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely reports and documentation
- Interact with a population of clients who are actively intoxicated and/or experiencing symptoms of withdrawal. Provide guidance, safety, stability and direction to these clients
- Identify emergency signals and situations and reacts appropriately
- Provide meals and clean up, as necessary
- Monitor the facility to ensure it is maintained in an orderly, clean, and safe manner and ensure that all outside doors remain secured
- Practice OSHA safety standards and disposes of biohazard waste according to OSHA standards
- Effectively respond to clients' needs and problems
- Initiate and maintain positive interactions, timely respond to phone calls, emails and other requests
- Adhere to all Recovery Resources policies and procedures
- Must be sensitive to the diverse cultural and situational needs of the clients and fellow employees
- Must be able to work with vulnerable homeless population
- Must be able to perform daily cleaning needs

- Must be able to function in a team setting, be flexible in attitude and have a desire to work with individuals seeking detoxification and facing homelessness
- Ability to maintain clients' and company confidentiality while adhering to HIPAA laws
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Associates degree in mental health or addiction treatment preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in the field is preferred but not required
- Current certification in First Aid/CPR preferred but not required - training is provided
- Current QMAP certification is preferred but not required - training is provided
- CAT or CAS is preferred but not required - training is provided
- Prior experience working in mental health or addiction treatment fields is preferred but not required
- Experience with motivational interviewing is a plus
- Experience with trauma-informed care is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Must have valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Must be living locally within a reasonable distance from Frisco CO or be willing to relocate
- Must be flexible with shift work coverage. No set schedule can be guaranteed at first
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts, to include weekends and holidays as needed, or on a rotating schedule
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, reference check, and CBI background check
- Must adhere to the company's non-discrimination policy
- We currently offer night shifts only - two to three 12 Hour shifts (from 7pm till 7am) is an average schedule. Overtime opportunity is available.
